Desillusion magazine teamed up with Benjamin JeanJean, a French artist who’s into just about everything ( Photography – Drawing – Design ) and who is surrounded by an extremely dreamlike and mystical world. This association gave way to the creation of a highly atypical surfboard.
Inspired by the mag’s motto « Death of cool’, Benjamin Jean Jean created more than fifty illustrations, each one unique, and then shaped the whole thing himself, which in turn is more than just a board, it’s plain art. The board was shown at an exhibition, last month in Biarritz, France.
