The band Wavves (essentially a one-man operation driven by San Diego, CA native Nathan Williams) splashed into the world of indie rock in 2008. The two albums’ worth of lo-fi punk rock recorded behind his parents’ house quickly launched him to the forefront of the new American Gargage Rock scene. Since then, Williams has moved to Los Angeles and enlisted the late Jay Reatard's band, Billy Hayes (Drums) and Stephen Pope (Bass), to round out the new incarnation of Wavves. “Post Acid” was recorded at Sweet Tea Recording in Oxford, Mississippi with the help of producer Dennis Herring (Modest Mouse, The Hives, Ben Folds, Mutemath).
